The signs of excessive carbon dioxide and water in the air after the molecular sieve adsorber are:
(1) At the end of the use cycle of the molecular sieve adsorber, the carbon dioxide and water content increase rapidly, and the alarm values of the testing instrument should be monitored at all times;
(2) The carbon dioxide and water in the main heat exchanger have a freezing phenomenon, and the temperature difference at the hot end increases.
The cause is:
(1) If the molecular sieve is used for too long, the adsorption performance will decrease;
(2) Incomplete regeneration of molecular sieve, leakage of regeneration heater, humid regeneration gas or excessive moisture in the air affecting the adsorption of carbon dioxide;
(3) The uneven bed of the horizontal molecular sieve adsorber causes a short circuit in the airflow;
(4) The bed of the vertical molecular sieve adsorber has gaps, causing a short circuit in the airflow.
DEAR Air Separation has long-term experience in production, design, technology, and equipment manufacturing in the air separation industry. It has detailed research and regulations on equipment requirements and safety precautions to ensure the safe operation of air separation equipment.
