Operation and maintenance of valves in air separation equipment:

1、 Low temperature valves, valves on oxygen pipelines, and valves in contact with oxygen media must be free of oil, grease, and any other impurities. When using, maintaining, and repairing these valves, special attention should be paid to ensuring that they are not contaminated with flammable materials such as oil, grease, and wax. If they come into contact with oil, grease, etc., degreasing treatment should be carried out.

2、 Valve gaskets, sealing packing, and sealing rings must also be oil-free and grease free, and must be made of non combustible materials suitable for oxygen valves. The use of oil immersed wax and combustible materials is strictly prohibited.

3、 The visible surface of the valve stem must be kept clean, and the surface of the valve stem should be regularly coated with a lubricant suitable for oxygen valves.

4、 Check the leakage of the valve.

5、 Low temperature valves, oxygen pipelines, and valves in contact with oxygen media must be cleaned and strictly degreased before installation. The solvents used for cleaning and degreasing must also be free of oil, grease, and any other impurities, and decomposed solutions are not allowed to be used. During valve installation, all solid substances such as slag, iron oxide scale, rust, welding slag, explosives (including grease, preservatives, etc.) must be removed from all valve installation locations.

For detailed management and maintenance requirements for valves and specialized valves, please refer to the relevant valve maintenance manual for details.

The liquefaction of gases can be divided into forward and reverse cycles. The forward cycle process is the absorption of heat from the higher temperature external heat source and the release of heat to the lower temperature external heat source. The reverse cycle is when the mass draws heat from a lower temperature external heat source and releases it to a higher temperature external heat source. The forward cycle converts heat energy into mechanical energy and the reverse cycle converts mechani...

Distillation is using the different boiling points of the two substances to condense the mixed steam and vaporize the mixed liquid repeatedly to achieve gas separation. For a mixed liquid composed of two substances with different boiling points, when the heat absorption part evaporates, the volatile components will evaporate more, while the mixed steam will give off heat and partially condense, the non volatile components will condense more. If the saturated steam with higher temperature is mixed with the saturated liquid with lower temperature, the steam will release heat and partially condense, and the liquid will absorb heat part of it evaporates. If after a round of partial evaporation and partial condensation, the steam and liquid with higher concentration will contact with the steam and liquid with different temperature respectively, and then partial condensation and partial evaporation will occur again. This process will be repeated for many times, and finally gas separation
