Oxygen and nitrogen have a certain state under certain conditions. When the temperature reaches the boiling point under certain pressure, they will change from a liquid state to a gaseous state. When the pressure is constant, both oxygen and nitrogen have their fixed boiling points. But the boiling point of a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen is neither equal to the boiling point of oxygen at the same pressure nor the boiling point of nitrogen at the same pressure, but between the two. When the temperature reaches the boiling point of nitrogen, the mixture will not boil, and similarly, when the temperature drops to the condensation temperature of oxygen, the mixture will not condense.
