The acetylene content in the liquid oxygen of the main cooling shall be analyzed and measured every day, and records shall be made. The acetylene content in the liquid air of the crude argon condenser also needs to be analyzed intermittently and recorded. The length of the interval can be determined according to the operation experience. At the initial stage of start-up, it is recommended to analyze it every day. After finding the law, determine how many days to analyze it.
The acetylene content in liquid oxygen should generally be less than 0.01ppm and not more than 0.1ppm. If the acetylene content is too high, there is a risk of explosion. If the content of acetylene in liquid oxygen is found to be too high, measures must be taken to increase the discharge of liquid oxygen as much as possible. At this time, the expansion of the expander needs to be increased at the same time to keep the liquid oxygen level from falling, and the liquid oxygen in the main cooling should be continuously analyzed. If the concentration of acetylene continues to rise and reaches 1ppm, all liquids should be discharged at this time, the device should be shut down for heating, and the Molecular Sieve Purifier should be thoroughly heated and regenerated. In order to prevent local enrichment of acetylene and blockage of CO2, the plate unit in the condensing evaporator must be completely immersed in liquid oxygen. During operation, it must be avoided to operate for a long time under low liquid level. If the liquid level is too low, it cannot rise too high, otherwise the liquid will submerge the tray.
In the process of equipment manufacturing and installation, DEAR air separation has detailed management and operation requirements for each sub item equipment to ensure the high-quality operation of the equipment.
