(A) air cooling tower spray head cold scale
- To determine whether the low-temperature water spray head scaling: check the recent 3 to 6 months of low-temperature cooling water spray flow and valve opening: if the spray flow has not changed, but the valve opening gradually rise (such as from 50% gradually up to 80%), it means that the low-temperature water in the gradual formation of low-temperature scale, while the air-cooled tower spray head also has obvious blockage. If the valve opening is fixed, but the spray flow is significantly reduced (such as from 60m / h down to 40m / h), that also means that the spray head has been significantly blocked
- In the case of no serious blockage of the shower head (not affecting the production of air separation equipment), first reduce the concentration of the circulating water, and the calcium hardness of the low-temperature water control within 300mg, alkalinity in 300mg below, PH control in 8.5 below, total phosphorus control in 5mg/1 below. Then to the low-temperature water cycle to add low-temperature scale inhibitor, by adjusting the spray flow (sometimes large and sometimes small), the spray nozzle slowly and gradually unclogging (longer cycle, 2 ~ 3 months):.
- If the shower head has been severely blocked (has affected the production of air separation equipment), in the case of shutdown, open the manhole at the top of the air cooling tower, with a good oxygen mask (closed space), send someone to dismantle all the spray pipes and remove the cold scale by physical methods (knocking, through the bubble).
