When the demand for oxygen increases higher than the normal working condition, more liquid oxygen is extracted from the liquid oxygen storage tank, pressurized to the required pressure by the liquid oxygen pump and sent into the main heat exchanger after gasification and reheating, and the liquid oxygen stored in the liquid oxygen storage tank is consumed. At the same time, the flow of low-pressure expander will be reduced, and more cold volume will be recovered by high-pressure nitrogen and then throttled into the pressure tower, and the increased liquid nitrogen will be pumped out from the top of the pressure tower and sent to the liquid nitrogen storage tank through the low-pressure tower kettle. When the oxygen demand decreases below the normal working condition, less liquid oxygen is extracted from the liquid oxygen storage tank, pressurized by the liquid oxygen pump to the required pressure and sent to the main heat exchanger after gasification and reheating, and the excess liquid oxygen is stored in the liquid oxygen tank. At the same time, the flow of low-pressure expander will increase, the cold volume recovered by high-pressure nitrogen will be reduced, and the amount of liquid nitrogen sent to the low-pressure tower will be reduced, and the liquid nitrogen needs to be replenished from the storage tank to the low-pressure tower by the liquid nitrogen pump.
Dear Air Separation has designed liquid air separation plant to meet the needs of our customers according to the different working conditions they require.
