The throttling of gases is a process of equal enthalpy, i.e. throttling is simply a transformation between the internal energy of the gas and the work of propulsion, which includes internal potential energy and internal kinetic energy, while the temperature of the gas is only related to internal kinetic energy. The pressure of a gas is reduced after throttling, its mass volume increases and its internal potential energy always increases. When the flow energy becomes larger, the temperature of the gas decreases, when the flow energy decreases, its absolute value is greater than the increase of the internal potential energy, the temperature of the gas increases when it is throttled.
