There are three kinds of deep cold air separation processes in the textbook of deep cold air separation, two of which are single tower process and one with double tower. Only one pure component of oxygen nitrogen can be produced in single tower process, and two pure components can be produced simultaneously in double tower process. When the deep cold air separation is industrialized, the theory of thermodynamics has been fully mature, while distillation is in the transition period from distillation to distillation. The capacity of distillation in the textbooks of deep cold air separation reflects the theoretical characteristics of distillation in this period. However, the thermodynamics theory has been fully developed and mature in the textbooks. Only a little consideration can be found that the three deep cold air separation processes in the textbook are different from the normal distillation process. However, it is easy to derive the heat pump from the self thermal distillation if we carefully examine the heat supply mode. The most important and common way of heat pump is the so-called heat transfer.
