Author: DEAR AST

When heating the liquid in the constant pressure container, the temperature of the liquid is lower than the boiling point at the beginning, and it is all in the liquid state, which is called supercooled liquid. With the increase of temperature, when the evaporation temperature is reached, the liquid begins to evaporate, and the temperature does not change. At this time, the coexistence of vapor and liquid is in the saturated state. When the vapor is completely evaporated, the saturated steam continues to be heated, and the steam temperature begins to rise again. When exceeds the saturation temperature, it is called superheated steam.
