In the air separation plant, the purity of oxygen is mainly determined by the working conditions of the distillation column at the upper and lower parts. In addition, the oxygen content in argon fraction, reflux ratio, number of theoretical trays and separation efficiency will have a direct impact on the purity of oxygen. The following is a brief introduction to the relationship between these factors and oxygen purity.
.The relationship between oxygen content and oxygen purity in argon fraction: the oxygen purity is directly proportional to the oxygen content in argon fraction, that is, the higher the oxygen content in argon fraction, the higher the oxygen purity;
.The effect of the number of theoretical plates at the bottom of the upper column on the oxygen purity: the oxygen purity is directly proportional to the theoretical plate number at the lower part of the upper column, that is, the more the theoretical plate numberis, the higher the oxygen purityis;
.The relationship between oxygen extraction rate and oxygen purity: the oxygen purity is inversely proportional to the oxygen extraction rate;
.The relationship between upper columnpressure and oxygen purity: the oxygen purity is inversely proportional to the upper columnpressure, that is, the higher the upper column pressure, the lower the oxygen purity;
.The relationship between the extraction amount of middle pressure nitrogen in the lower columnand the purity of oxygen: the purity of oxygen is inversely proportional to the amount of nitrogen extracted from the lower column, that is, the purity of oxygen decreases with the increase of the amount of nitrogen extracted from the lower column.
