Under certain conditions, especially under high pressure, oxygen may react with carbon in steel when encountering friction, impact and spark. Therefore, according to pressure and laying method, in addition to the requirements shown in Table 40 for the material, in the downstream side of the pressure or flow control valve Group, a section of stainless steel tube (GB2270-80) whose length is more than 5 times of the outer diameter of the pipe and is not less than 1.5 m should be adopted) or copper-based alloy pipe; the oxygen discharge pipe section whose working pressure is more than 0.1MPa at the downstream of the oxygen release valve should also adopt stainless steel pipe.
