How to deal with the water inflow accident of the cooler (or switching heat exchanger?

The following two situations are common in the water inflow of the cooler (or switching heat exchanger:
1) The water level of the air cooling tower of the nitrogen water precooling system fails, which makes the water level too high. Or improper operation, such as unreasonable start-up of air cooling tower or sudden drop of air separation Tower pressure, etc., causing a large number of water accidents.
2) a large amount of water enters the air (when the air pressure is lower than the cooling water pressure) due to the leakage of the first-level cooler of the air compressor ). If there is no nitrogen water precooler or perfect water separation equipment, water will be brought into the air separation equipment, causing water accident. The rear cooler of the air compressor leaks, and there will be no water inflow accidents during Operation (because the air pressure is higher than the cooling water pressure ). When the air compressor stops, cooling water may still enter the air passage. If it is not drained, once the air compressor is restarted, water will flow into the air separation unit.
In addition to the above two large-scale inflow situations, when the refrigerator (or switching heat exchanger) is thawing and heating, if the heating gas is not dry, it will also bring in the water.
When water enters into the refrigerator (or switching heat exchanger) and freezes the blocking channel, the resistance will increase greatly, the pressure of the upper tower and the exhaust pressure of the air compressor will increase, and the switching sound will also become dull and lengthened, A large amount of water gas can be seen in the sewage and nitrogen discharge pipe. According to these phenomena, the water inflow accident of the cooler (or switching heat exchanger) can be judged.
For the situation of small amount of water and slight freezing, no parking is allowed. For example, shorten the switching time, increase the return ratio (the ratio of the amount of the return gas to the positive flow gas) and so on, or short-term stop for back blowing (low-temperature or normal-temperature dry gas is introduced from the heating inlet pipe of the cold end sewage and nitrogen pipe, and discharged from the hot end ). When the freezing is serious, only stop to heat the cooler (or switching heat exchanger) alone. This is the most effective way to eliminate the freeze. When the channel is completely frozen and blocked by the ice, and the heating gas cannot enter, hot water can be poured in to make the ice melt slowly.
The water inflow accident of the cooler (or switching heat exchanger) has serious consequences and should be eliminated as far as possible. In order to prevent water accidents from happening, the first is to correctly use, maintain and manage the nitrogen water precooler; the second is that the operators of the air compressor should often discharge water from the cooling water and pay attention to the inspection tour. When the air compressor stops, the outlet and inlet valves of cooling water should be closed. After starting, blow off the water in the pipeline. When the cooler leaks seriously, it should be stopped for repair or replacement; the third is that the heating gas must be dry.
