The failure reasons and solutions of the insufficient exhaust capacity of the compressor:

1. The malfunction of the air inlet filter: dirt accumulation and blocking lead to the reduction of exhaust volume; the air inlet pipe is too long and the pipe diameter is too small, which leads to the increase of suction resistance and affects the air volume. The filter should be cleaned regularly.

2. The reduction of compressor speed reduces the air displacement: the air compressor is not used properly, because the air displacement of the air compressor is designed according to certain altitude, suction temperature and humidity, when it is used on the plateau which exceeds the above standard, the suction pressure will decrease and so on, and the exhaust volume will certainly decrease.

3. The cylinder, piston and piston ring are seriously worn and over-bad, which makes the relevant clearance increase and the leakage increase, thus affecting the displacement. When it is normal wear, it is necessary to timely replace the vulnerable parts, such as piston rings, etc. If the installation is incorrect and the gap is left untimely, it should be corrected according to the drawing. If there is no drawing, experience data can be obtained. As for the space between piston and cylinder along the circle, if it is cast iron piston, the gap value is 0.06/100 of the diameter of the cylinder ~ 0.09/100; for aluminum alloy piston, the clearance is 0.12/100 of the diameter of the air diameter ~ 0.18/100; steel piston can take a smaller value of aluminum alloy piston.

4. The filling box is not strict, which produces air leakage and reduces the gas volume. First of all, the reason is that the manufacturing of the stuffing box itself is not in accordance with the requirements; secondly, it may be because the center of the piston rod and the stuffing box is not well aligned during installation, causing air leakage such as abrasion and strain; generally, add lubricating oil to the filling box, which can play the role of lubrication, sealing and cooling.

5. The influence of the breakdown of the suction and exhaust valves of the compressor on the exhaust volume. Metal fragments or other sundries fall into the valve seat of the air valve and the valve plate, which leads to untight closing and air leakage. This not only affects the air discharge, but also influences the changes of inter-level pressure and temperature; the emergence of this kind of problem may be due to the manufacturing quality problems, such as the warping of the valve plate, etc, the second is air leakage caused by severe wear of valve seat and valve plate.

6. The spring force of air valve does not match well with the gas strength. If the elastic force is too strong, the valve plate will open slowly; if the elastic force is too weak, the valve plate will not close timely, which will not only affect the gas volume, but also affect the increase of power and the service life of the valve plate and spring of the air valve. Meanwhile, it will also affect the change of gas pressure and temperature.

7. Improper pressing force of the air valve. If the compression force is small, it will leak air. Of course, it will not work if it is too tight, which will deform and damage the valve cover. Generally, the compression force can be calculated by the following formula: p = kΩ/4 D2P2, D is the diameter of the valve cavity, P2 is the maximum gas pressure, K is the value greater than 1, generally 1.5 ~ 2.5, K = 1.5 at low pressure ~ 2.0, K = 1.5 at high pressure ~ 2.5. Taking K in this way has proved to be good in practice. If the air valve breaks down, the valve cover must heat up and the pressure is abnormal.
