Once water entrainment is detected, immediately shut down the circulating water pump. This is because a continuous supply of cooling water intensifies the entrainment of water, allowing more water to be entrained by air into the subsequent system, causing greater damage to the equipment. Then, vent the air compressor to reduce the air pressure in the system and avoid more unstable factors caused by abnormal pressure. At the same time, quickly close the air inlet purifier or air inlet valve, and cut off the channels for air with water to enter the key links such as subsequent rectification to prevent water from polluting the subsequent equipment and products.
Organize professionals to carry out comprehensive inspection on the air cooling tower after the above emergency operations are completed. Focus on checking whether the filler is blocked, whether the spray nozzle is uniform, whether the demister is damaged, etc. The abnormality of these parts is often the common cause of entrainment of water. Find out the specific cause and carry out targeted treatment, such as cleaning the blocked packing, replacing the damaged nozzle or demister, etc.
When the problem is completely solved and the system is confirmed to be normal, the circulating water pump, air compressor and other equipment can be gradually restarted according to the operating procedures to restore the normal operation of the air separation system and ensure the production safety and product quality.
