When switching between molecular sieve adsorbers, the first step is to equalize the pressure. Due to the fact that the equalizing pipe is located at the outlet, if the equalizing valve is opened too fast during the equalizing process, it will inevitably cause significant fluctuations in air volume, which will affect the stable production of air separation; If the equalizing valve is opened too slowly, it will prolong the service time of the molecular sieve and be detrimental to the adsorption effect.

When unloading, if the pressure is too fast, the pressure in the lower part of the molecular sieve will be released quickly due to the pressure relief valve located below the molecular sieve bed, and the pressure above the molecular sieve bed layer must pass through the molecular sieve layer to release the pressure. The larger the pressure difference, the greater the pressure on the sieve bed, which will be detrimental to the safety of the molecular sieve bed.

Therefore, it is necessary to pay close attention to the heating and cold blowing processes of molecular sieves. The time for equalizing and depressurizing is both too long and too short, which is unfavorable.
