The configuration of the high purity nitrogen small air separation unit has the following aspects:

1、 Compressor unit configuration, for the reflux nitrogen plant, the compressor discharge pressure is generally 5-10bar. When the unit is large in scale and the product pressure is high, the product nitrogen compressor can be set separately; For the positive flow expansion nitrogen plant, when the scale is large, when there are many liquid products, a supercharger can be set separately to increase the nitrogen production and liquid products to meet the product requirements.

2、 Precooling system, raw air volume is 30000nm ³/ Air conditioning unit below h, with air volume of 30000nm ³/ H (i.e. 10000nm ³/ The nitrogen water precooling system is used for the above mentioned equipment.

3、 Expander, expansion capacity is more than 3000Nm ³/ h. It can be equipped with booster end, and the product nitrogen or feed gas can be pressurized at the supercharging end, with expansion less than 3000Nm ³/ h. Then the fan is used for braking without booster end.

4、 Fractionator, nitrogen production less than 20000nm ³/ For H unit, distillation is directly used in single tower, when the unit size is greater than 20000nm ³/ When h, it is necessary to consider the use of double tower distillation unit for investment recovery comparison; For distillation tower, the lower the working pressure, the higher the distillation efficiency, but the diameter of the tower will increase.
