The shape of molecular sieve is strip and spherical, and the particle size is 2 ~ 6 mm. There are three types commonly used: A-type, X-type and Y-type. Each type has many types according to the cation, pore size and properties. The holes in molecular sieves account for about half of the volume. The adsorption principle is that the molecules smaller than the holes are sucked into the pores, while the molecules larger than the holes are left outside the pores. 13X molecular sieve is generally used in all low pressure air separation unit.
