Air separation unit lower column expander

The principle of the expander in the lower column of the air separation unit is that when the high-pressure gas passes through the expander, it pushes the expander impeller to do external work, thus reducing the internal energy of the gas itself and reducing the temperature. Its function is to provide cooling capacity for the unit to supplement the problems such as insufficient reheating loss, unit cooling loss and liquefied product cooling capacity.
