What are the characteristics of centrifugal red compressor compared with air compressor? What problems should be noted when operating?

Compared with the air compressor, the biggest feature of centrifugal oxygen compressor is the difference of working medium. Oxygen is a kind of strong oxidant and fuel engine. Therefore, there are stricter requirements for safety in the aspects of design, manufacture, installation and usage management. For example:
1) in the material selection, the impellers of the oxygen compressor are generally stainless steel, and some shell passageways need copper plating, etc;
2) the air seal on the bearing side should be sealed with nitrogen to prevent oxygen from flowing out;
3) the system is equipped with fire extinguishing devices, and some even are equipped with water spraying devices and the chain of exhaust temperature at all levels;
4) strictly degreasing is required during installation or overhaul, etc.
Pay attention to the following problems when operating:
1) the safety device of the compressor should be checked regularly, and the failure should be handled timely;
2) the exhaust temperature at all levels should be controlled within the specified range. When the alarm value is reached, the reasons should be found out and handled;
3) the pipe fittings and machine components contacting with oxygen should be strictly skim, and the tools used should not be contaminated by oil;
4) keep the machine clean, the bearing is not allowed to leak oil or air, and handle the leakage timely;
5) pay attention to the indication change of axis displacement, stop the machine when the alarm value is reached, find out the reason and deal with it;
6) when the oxygen compressor is running, the operator should not enter the separation wall.
