When the reciprocating piston moves to the right in the cylinder, the pressure in the left chamber of the piston in the cylinder is lower than the atmospheric pressure PA, the suction valve opens, and the outside air is sucked into the cylinder. This process is called compression process. When the cylinder pressure is higher than the output air pipe pressure P, the exhaust valve opens. The reciprocating motion of piston is formed by crank slider mechanism driven by motor. The rotary motion of the crank is converted into sliding reciprocating motion of the piston. The compressor with this structure always has residual volume at the end of the exhaust process. In the next suction, the compressed air in the remaining volume will expand, thus reducing the amount of air inhaled, reducing the efficiency and increasing the compression work. Simple structure, long service life, and easy to achieve large capacity and high voltage output.
