The unit adopts molecular sieve purification, booster turbine expander to supply the cooling capacity of the unit, and the whole rectification hydrogen-free argon production process, which is safe, reliable and economical. The main reasons are as follows:
1.Good safety The whole set of device has the advantages of low operating pressure, simple process, high equipment safety, long switching cycle of molecular sieve system, increased service life of switching valve, and reduced potential hazards. A large amount of liquid oxygen is extracted from the main cooling (K1) to minimize the possibility of hydrocarbon accumulation.
2.High reliability A large amount of surplus nitrogen can be sent to the water cooling tower, reducing the load of the water chiller, reducing the energy consumption and cost of air separation, so that the reliability of the device is further improved.
