On April 25, 2024, the "Skills Competition, Showcasing My Style" jointly organized by the Kaifeng DEAR Air Separation Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "DEAR Air Separation") labor union, administrative center, and operation center - the DEAR Air Separation 2024 Welder and Cold Work Skills Competition came to an end in the company's equipment manufacturing workshop. The purpose of this competition is to enhance the professional skills of employees, stimulate innovation spirit, select outstanding skilled talents, and inject new vitality into the sustainable development of the company.
Eighteen welders and cold workers from the equipment manufacturing factory participated in this competition. At the competition venue, the splashing of welding flowers and the sound of hammers showcased the contestants' superb skills and superb operational skills. All contestants completed the competition in skills such as welding, argon arc welding, gas cutting and welding of test plates, as well as cold working plate layout and cutting, forming and manufacturing within the specified time. The judges carefully and meticulously rated the entries of the contestants based on evaluation rules such as operational standardization, completion quality, work efficiency, innovation and difficulty handling, and on-site cleanliness.
After intense competition, two first prizes, three second prizes, and four third prizes were ultimately selected. The company leadership attached great importance to this competition. At the award ceremony, Ms. Haixia, the chairman, and Mr. He Baotang, the vice chairman, congratulated the award-winning contestants respectively. At the same time, they announced the establishment of the DEAR Science and Technology Innovation Fund to encourage more contestants to continue to improve their skills and contribute to the development of the company.
