There are many ways to classify air separation units. According to the product output (oxygen products), there are three types: large, medium and small. The oxygen production of large-scale air separation plant is greater than or equal to 10000 cubic meters per hour; the oxygen production of medium-sized air separation plant is greater than or equal to 1000 cubic meters per hour; the oxygen production of small-scale air separation plant is less than 1000 cubic meters per hour.

No pressure in the cylinder before the air compressor of air separation unit starts

From the starting characteristics of the motor driving the air compressor, it can be seen that the current of the motor starting is several times larger than that of normal operation. The strong starting current has a great influence on the motor itself, transformer and transmission line. In order to reduce the starting time and starting current, no-load is a more effective measure. Based on this requirement of motor starting, before starting the air compressor, the pressure of all levels of pressure gauges should be checked. If there is air, the air should be released.
