In order to ensure that the cylinder surface can work normally at high temperature, the cylinder and cylinder head must be cooled at any time. There are two ways of cooling: one is to cool with coolant (water cooling); The other uses air to cool (air cooling).
When the engine is cooled by air, many heat sinks are cast on the outer surface of the cylinder block and cylinder head to increase the heat dissipation area and ensure sufficient heat dissipation. Generally, the cylinder block and crankcase of air-cooled engine are cast separately.
