More than half of all air separation equipment accidents were the explosion caused by the main cooling system. When processing air, all the impurities which have not been completely removed will finally gather in the main cooling liquid oxygen.

The working pressure of the high-pressure oxygen compressor used for filling bottles is high, and it is easy to cause cylinder burning accidents due to improper operation and management. In order to prevent this kind of accidents from happening, the following matters should be paid attention to when using and maintaining: 1) for the parts of the oxygen compressor, the maintenance tools and the hands of the maintenance personnel must be strictly skim and cleaned, finally, clean the carbon tetrachluene thoroughly. When pulling out the piston for overhaul, special attention should be paid to clear the oil stain at the bottom of the piston rod in case of stain the seal. When the sealer and scraper are worn out, they should be replaced in time to prevent them from being oiled; 2) the distilled water used for lubrication must not be interrupted.
